胃内壁具有胃腺（gastric gland），呈单盲囊状结构，分泌的胃液中包含盐酸、氯化物等无机盐和粘蛋白、消化酶等有机物，胃液分泌由食物直接刺激胃而引起。

胃底腺(gastric gland)：为单管状腺或有少数分支的管状腺。腺管长度和胃粘膜厚度近似，是产生胃液的主要腺体。
